Daminda Perera Takes the Helm as Group Managing Director at Swisstek

Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC and Swisstek Aluminium Ltd are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daminda Perera as the Group Managing Director of both entities, with effect from 29th July 2025.  

The company’s continuous drive towards operational excellence, market leadership, and strategic development has reached a major turning point with the appointment of Mr. Daminda, who has over 20 years of cross-industry experience and a track record of fostering transformational growth. In his previous role as Director/CEO, Swisstek achieved outstanding outcomes in terms of brand and financial performance metrics, including a notable increase in market capitalization and stock value.     

Mr. Daminda has been instrumental in reinventing Swisstek’s strategic vision and aligning the company’s core values with a revitalized goal of providing superior construction solutions since joining the company. Under his direction, Swisstek Tile Adhesive has become the industry leader in Sri Lanka, and Swisstek Aluminium has developed into a major force behind innovation, sustainability, and international competitiveness for the entire company.
