People’s Bank celebrates World Children’s Day and World Elder’s Day with special benefits

People’s Bank, one of the country’s leading banks, marked World Children’s Day and World Elder’s Day, celebrated annually on October 1, by reaffirming its commitment to supporting the children of the nation while offering a range of special benefits to senior citizens.

In addition, children holding Ethera Udana Personal Foreign Currency Minors’ Accounts who open accounts and receive remittances during the period from October 1 to December 31, will be eligible to win Ethera Udana stationery sets valued.

People’s Bank also offers the Parinatha Senior Citizen Savings Account, which provides senior citizens with a host of benefits designed to make their savings more rewarding and convenient. People’s Bank introduced the Isuru Udana savings account in 1998 under the theme ‘The Wisest Gift for a Child’. As part of its commitment to supporting children throughout their educational journey, People’s Bank recognises students who passed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination with a special gift. Further, students who achieve 1st, 2nd and 3rd Island Ranks in all six streams at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination are also recognised and rewarded with cash prizes in appreciation of their outstanding academic achievements.
