Lanka India Business Association (LIBA) announced that it will launch the first-ever online business advisory service that will connect business advisors in India directly to businesses in Sri Lanka (members of LIBA).

One of the most pressing challenges in today’s business landscape is gaining access to the right network. Many business leaders and entrepreneurs struggle to connect with the right individuals at the right time, resulting in lost opportunities for growth and success. In an environment where speed is critical, the ability to reach the market swiftly, experiment with new ideas and make informed decisions, often determine whether a business thrives or fails.

Recognizing this challenge, the Lanka India Business Association (LIBA) has partnered with DreamPlanner.io to introduce a seamless, on-demand business advisory service for its members. The DreamPlanner.io platform has been fully integrated into LIBA’s website, providing Sri Lankan entrepreneurs with direct and instant access to experienced Indian business advisors across various industries.

A Technology-Driven Business Advisory

Nevindaree Premarathne, Governing Council Member of LIBA and the visionary behind this initiative, explains, “In today’s world, people are increasingly online for all kinds of services, from booking cabs to ordering food to finding a life partner. So, we think the time has come to facilitate a ‘business to advisor’ service (direct and online) under LIBA.

We have requested prospective advisors in India to come on board. The governing council of LIBA will engage with them and after a thorough vetting process, they will be available online on the LIBA website to support our members’ requirements. The platform will be available 24×7, helping members engage immediately, one-on-one.

Aroshi Nanayakkara, Vice President of LIBA added “We are looking to the future.  In an increasingly AI-driven world, it is critical that we empower advisors and businesspeople to interact seamlessly and without delay. We are delighted that a LIBA council member had the foresight and initiative to build a technology interface such as this. The investment we will make as an association is well worth it given the expected outcome for our members.”

Santosh Menon, President of LIBA said “In our quest to foster closer business links between Sri Lanka and India, we are creating a seamless, integrated solution which will be at the fingertips of our members. By doing this, we can increase the ease of accessing Indian markets for Sri Lankan companies and products. I would like to thank Nevindaree Premarathne for this effective initiative that will add to our mission of getting Sri Lankan businesses to India as effortlessly as possible.”

Prakash Schaffter added, “Each member of our governing council brings different strengths to the table, each adding a unique skillset, furthering the objectives of our association. This is the first of many such innovations we will try to bring for the benefit of members.”
