ICTA announces winners of e-Swabhimani 2020, Digital Social Impact Awards
Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) recently awarded the winners of 10th e-Swabhimani Digital Social Impact awards in a ceremonious event held at Hilton, Colombo.
e-Swabhimani is the premier national digital social impact awards that aims to recognize disruptive digital solutions with a strong impact to the society.
62 winners of 10 distinctive categories were awarded at e-Swabhimani 2020. Among them, the winners of the Digital Entertainment category were InGame Esports Platform by Gamer.LK, “Panchathurya” Kontakt Library by K. Buddhi Chalanga & K.P. Liyanage and AUDICI Reality Audition Platform by VATTZ (Kasun Delgolla & Shanaka Nanayakkara). In the same category, KiKi by Mobile Vision Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and Poth by Treinetic (Pvt) Ltd won Merit awards, NERO by Arimac Lanka won the Certificate of Appreciation whilst Mithuraa Computer Game by Charitha Madusanka Liyanarachchi won the Jurors’ Distinction award.
Expert Republic by Rootcode (Pvt) Ltd, Colombo Tea e-Auction by CICRA Solutions (Pvt) Ltd and Niftron by Niftron (Pvt) Ltd emerged as winners in the Business and Commerce category whist Merit awards were presented to Stack Schedular by Stack Technologies (Pvt) Ltd and ANANKE by Ananke IOT Services (Pvt) Ltd. Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to Ecoru by Fintechnology Asia Pacific Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, WoofDesk by Coolbit Software Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Billa Cloud by Commercial Technologies Plus (Pvt) Ltd, EVA by Extrogene Software (Pvt) Ltd and BRIDGE by SCM Studio (Pvt) Ltd.
In the Environment and Green Energy category, E-Waste Lanka by Dilukshan Udayakumar and ගජමං- Radio Collar for Wild Elephant Tracking and Security System by E Gravity Solutions (Pvt) Ltd sealed top honors whilst cleanair.lk by Tropical Climate Guarantee & Foundation for Environment Climate and Technology and SenzAgro “AgriCore” Platform by SenzAgro Solutions (SenzAgro (Pvt) Ltd) secured Merit awards. Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to Protecting Our Planet Starts with You by Thisumi Devja Sumanaweera.
In addition to the above categories, awards were presented to the winners of Government and Citizen Engagement, Health and well-being, Learning and Education, Culture and Tourism, Smart Settlement and Urbanization, Inclusion and Empowerment and Youth categories.
